Amy I., Senior Advisor, Access to Medicines at Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last week’s UNGA80 was full on. For a UN General Assembly and its 1,000 side events, that’s not new. What stood out this year was seeing so many good people tackling (and solving) critical challenges in a nuanced and pragmatic way, tailored to the specific setting. I also heard way more voices of people with lived experience. Refreshing.
No way could I highlight ALL the goodness from last week. Instead, I’ll highlight the goodness where I remembered to take photos. Thanks to all that I met with or witnessed for fueling my renewed energy that progress in cancer care – and across NCDs – is truly possible.
Each of you are the change.”
