Ummi Umar Musa: Africa WRAD Dialogue 2026 Advances Equitable Radiotherapy Access

Ummi Umar Musa, Public Health and Oncology Specialist, Founder of Call Off Cancer Initiative and Uhealth Africa, shared on LinkedIn:

“AFRICA WRAD DIALOGUE 2026. ONE VOICE FOR RADIOTHERAPY.

Radiotherapy saves lives. Yet across Africa, access remains deeply unequal.

On 7 September 2026 at 12:00 PM WAT, leaders, cancer-care professionals, advocates, patients and partners from across the continent and beyond will come together virtually for the Africa WRAD Dialogue 2026.

Theme: Building Partnerships for Equitable Access to Radiotherapy Across Africa

We are honoured to welcome the co-moderators for Africa WRAD Dialogue, Dr Katie Wakeham, who is a co-chair at World Radiotherapy Awareness Day and my humble self as Africa Regional Champion for WRAD.

This is more than a conversation. It is a call to strengthen partnerships, unlock strategic investment, champion innovation and move closer to closing Africa’s radiotherapy gap.

Because when it comes to equitable cancer care, Africa needs One Voice for Radiotherapy.
