“I’m proud to share that registration is now open for Momentum 2026!
When we first shared this initiative, it was with a clear ambition: to help close the gap between what we know from cancer research discoveries and what patients actually experience across Europe. Since then, the need for stronger collaboration has only become more evident.
That is why I am especially pleased that we (Cancerfonden) are convening Momentum 2026 together with our partners Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), IARC – International Agency for Research on Cancer / World Health Organization, European Academy of Cancer Sciences (EACS), and Cancer Patients Europe – CPE.
On 14-16 October, we will bring together decision makers, researchers, clinicians, patient leaders and innovators at Artipelag in Stockholm. Not just to exchange ideas, but to move forward together, across countries and sectors, and accelerate how research is implemented in practice.
Europe has a unique opportunity to take a leading role in cancer research and innovation. But this will only happen if we work more closely together, align efforts and ensure that scientific progress reaches patients faster, everywhere.
Momentum 2026 is our contribution to making that happen. The first registrations are already coming in, and now we are looking to bring the right people into the room.
