In this article, Dr Salha Bujassoum Al Bader, President of the Qatar Society for Oncology Innovations and Networking (Q-SOINS), a UICC member organisation, explains how multidisciplinary tumour boards, biomarker testing, and molecular diagnostics are helping clinicians tailor cancer treatment to individual patients.
‘If we suspect cancer, the patient must be referred to a tertiary hospital within 48 hours and receive an appointment within 48 hours’
