“The Nest-of-Hope Community, a UICC member in Nigeria, recently held its annual Survivors’ Gathering, celebrating the strength and resilience of people affected by cancer.
Together with its collaborator, the Okapi Children Cancer Foundation, the organisation provided therapy sessions for children and adults who have experienced cancer, as well as their caregivers.
The event created a safe space for participants to express themselves, connect with others, and find support, making it a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.”
