“UICC leadership and colleagues joined ASCO, a UICC member organisation, for their 2026 Annual Meeting from 29 May to 2 June in Chicago!
The theme was ‘The Science and Practice of Translation, Improving Cancer Outcomes Worldwide,’ and we were delighted to reconnect with UICC members and partners.
We were pleased to host a joint UICC-led ATOM Coalition – ASCO session with partner presentations from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and Bristol Myers Squibb, to increase access to oncology medicines in LLMICs, and country presentations with a focus on current collaborations with El Salvador, Uganda, and Mongolia, and on the Global Cancer Financing Platform’s planned activities in Uganda to support innovative health financing mechanisms.
We look forward to continuing collaboration throughout 2026.”
