Ahead of World Cancer Research Day on Wednesday, 24 September, we celebrate the pioneering work of scientists, clinicians, and advocates worldwide who are shaping the future of cancer care.
Cancer research leads to:
- New treatments and diagnostics
- Improved prevention and early detection
- Stronger health systems and equity in access
However, global investment in cancer research remains uneven. Greater collaboration and funding are needed to ensure that innovation reaches everyone, everywhere.
Let’s continue to support and expand research as a cornerstone of global health.”
