Uddiptya Goswami: KAP Survey on Immunotherapy-Related Toxicities in India

Uddiptya Goswami, Consultant Medical Oncology and Hematology at Apollo Cancer Centre, Chennai, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Happy to present our survey at the KERALA EM Conference, Kovalam, Kerala, from 29-31 May 2026.

Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Survey on Immunotherapy Toxicity and Management among Emergency and Critical Care Physicians in India‘ explores how prepared frontline physicians are to recognize and manage immune-related toxicities.

FIRST TO SEE AND FAST TO ACT

This is important because immunotherapy is transforming cancer care, and timely recognition of toxicities can make a real difference in patient outcomes.

In the next phase, we plan to expand this survey pan-India to capture a broader national perspective and strengthen awareness.

I have also begun educational sessions in association with the Department of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at SP Medifort Hospital, focusing on the signs, symptoms, and ideal management of immunotherapy-related adverse events (irAEs).

Grateful for the interest, conversations, and support from colleagues at the conference.

Special thanks to Dr Arun SS for providing this opportunity to collaborate.”
