“Fail to prepare? Prepare to fail.
We need urgent action on development of the next National Cancer Strategy. We’re already about 2 years behind schedule and patients will be left paying the price.”
To which Cynthia Cravo, Advanced BC Patient Advocate, added:
“This is not concerning only for cancer patients.
The country now risks moving forward without a National Cancer Strategy for the coming years. But cancer does not pause for policy gaps. People will continue to be diagnosed and affected regardless.”
