“We are proud to celebrate Julie Dang, PhD, MPH, Executive Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center , who has been awarded funding through the National Comprehensive Cancer Network Oncology Research Program, in collaboration with Novartis .
Dr. Dang’s project — EMBRACE (Education and Mobile Mammography for Breast Cancer Resources, Access, and Adherence via Community Engagement) — will expand access to breast cancer education and mobile mammography services, addressing barriers to care and advancing health equity for communities across Northern California.
She joins a distinguished group of investigators working to improve outcomes across the breast cancer continuum of care.
