“Day 1 at EADO 2026.
Presenting Poster A-140:
IFN-γ-Loaded Dissolvable Sugar Microneedles for Local Intradermal Delivery in Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma.
In this work, we explore a dissolvable microneedle platform designed for targeted intradermal delivery of cytokines:
- Enables localised IFN-γ administration to enhance tumour immune activation.
- Aims to reduce systemic exposure while maintaining therapeutic effect.
- Supports the development of precision, localised immunotherapy strategies in dermato-oncology.
This project was developed in collaboration with colleagues at Middlesex University University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and UCL, alongside Erika Loizidou, Cristina Russo, and Sue Outram .
It has been great to engage with the international dermato-oncology community and exchange perspectives on emerging directions in immunotherapy and translational drug delivery.
A pleasure also to connect with leading experts in the field, including world-famous Teresa Amaral MD, PhD.
Looking forward to the next sessions and discussions with Tolga Ersöz.”
