Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh: Join SIOP Asia 2026 in Mongolia to Brighten the Future for Children with Cancer Across Asia

Tsetsegsaikhan Batmunkh, Director of the Public Health Department at the Ministry of Health of Mongolia, shared about the upcoming SIOP Asia 2026 Congress:

“The SIOP Asia 2026 Congress, taking place 25-28 June 2026 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, will be a landmark gathering for the pediatric oncology community across Asia and beyond. Convened under the theme ‘Together for Change: Science, Compassion, and Hope for Every Child,’ the Congress offers an exceptional opportunity to advance knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate progress toward equitable childhood cancer care.

SIOP Asia, in partnership with CCI Asia and patient advocacy groups, serves as the leading regional forum dedicated to improving outcomes for children and adolescents with cancer.

Mongolia is among the first countries to join the WHO Global Initiative for Childhood Cancer and the St. Jude Global Platform for Access to Childhood Cancer Medicines, making SIOP Asia 2026 a unique opportunity to showcase national and regional efforts to improve childhood cancer survival.

Childhood cancer remains a growing challenge in many parts of Asia, where disparities in access to timely diagnosis, quality treatment, and essential medicines persist. SIOP Asia 2026 will bring together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, NGOs, and global partners to foster collaboration and develop shared solutions.

The Congress will host internationally recognized experts and leaders in pediatric oncology, providing valuable opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development. Delegates will connect with colleagues at the forefront of clinical care, research, and advocacy – building partnerships that extend far beyond the Congress.

Hosting SIOP Asia in Mongolia offers a truly distinctive setting. Delegates will have the chance to experience Mongolia’s unique culture, breathtaking landscapes, and rich traditions – making the Congress not only scientifically rewarding, but personally unforgettable.

Join us in Mongolia for this milestone event as we work together for change and a brighter future for children with cancer across Asia.”
