Tracey O’Brien: More than 700 People at the NSW Cancer Summit
Tracey O’Brien, Chief Cancer Officer and CEO of Cancer Institute NSW, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“The NSW Cancer Summit brought together more than 700 people from all areas of NSW and beyond.
Some of the brightest minds tabled ideas, challenged our thinking, and called us all to attention.
What was incredibly clear is that despite the growing burden of cancer, there are incredibly passionate teams of people advocating for the unique needs of people impacted by cancer.
Cancer is one of our greatest health challenges, and I’m absolutely honoured and humbled to have shared the past two days with some of the world’s most talented and driven cancer control leaders and community advocates.
I’d like to thank all our speakers, chairs, and co-chairs for sharing their work and perspectives, including today’s plenary speakers Susan Pearce, Nicole Turner, Rami Rahal, Te Miri Rangi, Professor Paul Harnett, Bogda Koczwara, Dorothy Keefe, Nyan Tieu, Kerry Chant, Teresa Anderson, and Nadia Levin.
Make sure you keep the conversation going and share your Summit experience using the hashtag NSWCancerSummit2025.”
