Todd Harper: Cancer Research Fellowships Victoria Marks a New Chapter in Cancer Research

Todd Harper, CEO at Cancer Council Victoria, shared on LinkedIn:

“Today we celebrated an important milestone for Cancer Research Fellowships Victoria, as the program’s marked the first year for the newly awarded Cancer Research Fellowship Victoria recipients.

This collaboration between Cancer Council Victoria, the Victorian Government, the Victorian Department of Health, and our Cancer Council donors, supports talented early and mid-career researchers to pursue bold ideas across cancer prevention, detection, treatment and care.

As Cancer Council Victoria celebrates 90 years, we are reminded of what long-term investment in research can achieve.

Today’s fellows are tomorrow’s research leaders.

By continuing to work across government, research institutions, universities, and the community, we can strengthen Victoria’s cancer research ecosystem and help uncover the next breakthrough for people affected by cancer, here and around the world.”
