“Looking back on ESMO26, I’m struck by the incredible progress happening across oncology, and how much more there is still to do.
I was proud to see the breadth of science our teams shared across a range of cancers, reflecting the momentum of our portfolio. Just as valuable were the opportunities to connect with oncology leaders, colleagues and advocates about the needs and opportunities still ahead.
Those conversations reinforced something I come back to often: advancing cancer care isn’t only about scientific progress. It’s about understanding what matters to patients and translating that progress into meaningful advances for the people we serve.
I left Madrid energized by what I saw and heard, and grateful to the many colleagues who made our presence at ESMO possible.
Most of all, I’m excited about what comes next as we continue working to bring more breakthroughs to patients.”
