Tigran Gevorgyan: Russia–Arab World Cooperation Opens a New Chapter in Healthcare

Tigran Gevorgyan, Oncologist, Deputy Director and Head of the Research Center for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare at the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology of the Russian Ministry of Health, shared a post on Telegram:

“This week, our Center hosted the meeting ‘Russia – Arab World: Advanced Technologies for Human Health.’

Participants included:

  • 19 countries from the Arab world and the Middle East – diplomatic missions represented by more than 35 embassy representatives;
  • 19 leading federal-level medical institutions (more than 50 representatives).

The meeting was opened by Minister of Health M.A. Murashko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs A.V. Grushko, and Director of our Center I.S. Stilidi, head of VTB-Medicine LLC, which is actively involved in implementing projects to export medical services.
Results of the meeting with the Arab world: our country is firmly establishing itself as a medical power. Our potential is colossal and must work, first and foremost, for the benefit of each of our citizens.

For me, responsible for the organizational support of federal projects and international activities at the institution, this is a strategic vector. Success on the international stage is a growth driver for the entire oncology service. By expanding our international patient routing, we’re reaching a whole new level, streamlining logistics, service, language support, and raising standards. All of this ultimately raises the bar for domestic healthcare.

The willingness of our Arab partners to cooperate opens a new chapter.

We have a major advantage: integrity. Russia offers not isolated clinics, but a powerful network of federal centers, of which the Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology is one of the flagships.

We’re moving away from the ‘just cheaper’ model. We offer value: cutting-edge quality at the best price.”
