These past few months have been challenging in my new leadership position within the department, yet at the same time, extremely rewarding:
I was promoted to Director of Research for the Gastrointestinal Oncology Department, recognized as a physician who recruited the highest number of patients for research protocols across the entire institution, awarded internal grants to help advance several projects, and today, named a ‘Moffitt Ambassador.’
Every single research project brings hope to our patients; if we can share the high-level research conducted at Moffitt, we will be able to reach more people and change more lives!”
