“It is with an immensely heavy heart that we share about the passing of Nick Valvano. Nick’s impact on the V Foundation is immeasurable. He dedicated himself to making his brother’s vision a reality, devoting his life to advancing our mission to fund groundbreaking cancer research to accelerate Victory Over Cancer.
Last year, he sat with our staff and told us what makes the V Foundation special. It’s the team. The people.
Nick served as our CEO from 1999 – 2012 and throughout his years of service, he helped guide us through important milestones while keeping Jim’s vision at the center of our work.
He was a friend, mentor, storyteller, and guardian of the mission. He helped shape the organization we are today. Our hearts are with the Valvano family.”
