The Centre for Applied Cancer Research Was Officially Launched at The Royal Marsden

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Yesterday, The Centre for Applied Cancer Research was officially launched at The Royal Marsden by Dame Cally Palmer (right), Chief Executive.

Led by Dr Susanne Cruickshank (centre), Strategic Lead for Applied Health Research, and Professor Helen McNair, Professor of Translational Therapeutic Radiography, in partnership with The Institute of Cancer Research, this new virtual centre brings together internationally recognised cancer experts, researchers and public contributors committed to transforming the experiences, support, and care of people living with a diagnosis of cancer and their families.

By focusing on improving outcomes, enhancing the quality and efficiency of cancer services, and accelerating the adoption of research into clinical practice, the Centre works to ensure that person-centred care, lived experience and innovation shape every stage of the cancer pathway.
