The Institute of Cancer Research shared a post on LinkedIn:
“We’re delighted to welcome the approval of the exciting plans to create a major new district for oncology and life sciences companies in Sutton, south London.
Led by Aviva Capital Partners and Socius, the new development will bring one million square feet of brand-new labs and research space to The London Cancer Hub, which is already home to the ICR, The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, and the Innovation Gateway.
Professor Kristian Helin, Chief Executive of the ICR, said:
“We warmly welcome the approval of these ambitious new plans for The London Cancer Hub, a project the ICR has long championed. This environment will further strengthen our world-leading research and help us attract the very best scientists and students from around the world.”
