The Aladina Foundation’s Humanitarian Mission Earns Ukraine’s Highest Health Honor – The Aladina Foundation

The Aladina Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:

“How proud we are to receive this great recognition!

Our Director Ishtar Espejo received the Medal of the Order of St. Pantaleimon, the highest distinction awarded by the Government and the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the field of health and humanitarian care.

This gratitude is the fruit of all the work done by Aladina to support Ukrainian children with cancer and their families.

After the start of the war in 2022, we managed the evacuation of more than 70 Ukrainian families with children suffering from cancer to receive treatment in Spain. And in Madrid we have guaranteed, during these three years, more than 30 families accommodation and the coverage of their basic needs, as well as psychological support and help in their medical and administrative procedures.

Since then, we have continued to work together with these families, offering them our comprehensive support, accompanying each child and guaranteeing that “where there is a child with cancer, Aladina will be there“.

Congratulations to our entire team for this very special award.”
