“Inspiring meeting with Dr. Patricia Elena Clark Peralta, Secretary of Mexico’s Consejo de Salubridad General, during WHA 79. We discussed the country’s ‘PRONAM‘ initiative to improve awareness within the medical community, and the wider public, on national medical protocols for common health conditions, from chronic kidney disease to obesity. I committed WHO’s support for this vital effort to raise greater awareness on actions to take to protect and promote health.”
