“For more than two decades, the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization (SAGE) has guided global immunization strategies, informed WHO recommendations, ultimately protecting millions of lives thanks to the the power of safe and effective vaccines.
At a time when misinformation on vaccines spreads faster than viruses and trust in institutions and science is being tested; independence, transparency, research and evidence are more important than ever. I thank the experts from around the world representing SAGE for lending their expertise, and WHO looks forward to receiving and reviewing SAGE’s latest policy recommendations this week.”
