“It was an honour to meet His Holiness Pontifex yesterday at the Vatican.
I expressed my gratitude for championing every person’s right to health, especially the most vulnerable communities living in emergencies.
We discussed collaboration on health and peace, advancing mental health, the impact of climate on health, and the serious implications of declining global funding for health in the short and long term.
We also discussed fostering global solidarity to advance Health For All.
There is no peace without health and no health without peace.”
