“I commend Kenya on launching its National Cervical Cancer Elimination Action Plan. This 5 year action plan aims to achieve the 90-70-90 global targets for 2030 to save girls and women from this preventable disease.
- 90% of girls vaccinated
- 70% of women screened
- 90% of women with pre-cancerous lesions treated.
World Health Organization stands ready to support countries every step of the journey to eliminate cervical cancer and advance.”
