Tabatha Gonzalez-Olaechea, Sr. Director of Regional Development and Co-Chair of SOMOS Hispanic EARG at ALSAC / St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared on LinkedIn:
“This week, I had the honor of attending the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – ALSAC National Training Meeting, and I left more inspired than ever by the incredible people and mission that unite us.
Joining nearly 1,900 colleagues from across the organization was a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when passionate individuals come together with a shared purpose. Hearing from St. Jude patients and families, researchers, and physicians reinforced the profound impact of our global work and the urgency of our mission: ensuring that no child dies from cancer.
I am especially proud to be part of the South Territory and Texas / Oklahoma team, while also having the opportunity to work on our incredible Corporate Partnerships team, helping bring meaningful partnerships to life in support of the St. Jude mission.
Working alongside dedicated colleagues whose commitment, compassion, and determination advance this mission every day is truly inspiring. And a special shoutout to J.Crew Factory for the wonderful HOPE shirts, which served as a visible reminder of the power of partnership and the hope we create together for St. Jude families.
The stories shared throughout the week reminded us that behind every partnership, fundraising effort, and act of generosity is a child and family counting on us. That perspective fuels our work and inspires us to continue making a difference.
Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside such an incredible team. Juntos, Together, we are helping transform the future for children and families around the world.”
