Swagata Goswami, Assistant Professor of Molecular Pharmacology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, shared Melanie Brickman Borchard’s, Director, Life Sciences at New York Academy of Sciences post on LinkedIn, adding:
“Super excited to have been there today and enjoyed all the great science!”
Quoting Melanie Brickman Borchard’s post on LinkedIn:
“Today’s ‘Cancer Metabolism and Signaling in the Tumor Microenvironment’ conference convened an exceptional community of researchers who explored the dynamic interplay between cell signaling and metabolism, from mTOR-driven tumor growth and nucleotide metabolism to immune drivers of cachexia, lipid and ceramide metabolism in metastasis, and the emerging role of ferroptosis and metabolic fitness in anti-tumor immunity. The discussions highlighted just how central metabolic reprogramming is to tumor progression, immune evasion, and new therapeutic strategies.
