“Today I had the privilege of attending our Congreso Internacional de Oncología Auna in Medellín, welcoming over 300 specialists from across the region to discuss the future of oncology.
As we look ahead we are faced with a paradox: While oncology is advancing faster than ever before – dramatically improving treatment outcomes – access to these innovations remains critically low in Latin America.
At Auna, our mandate is clear: We must advance science while guaranteeing access to it. Because science without access is an empty promise, and access without science is insufficient.
I am truly inspired by the conversations taking place here in Medellín as we confront this challenge together and we look forward to growing this event annually into Latin America’s premier oncology gathering.
