Despite being one of the most effective treatment modalities for cervical cancer, brachytherapy often remains underutilized and under-discussed. Yet, for many patients, it plays a critical role in achieving the best possible outcomes as part of a comprehensive radiation therapy treatment plan.
As cervical cancer continues to be a significant health challenge in India, it is important to increase awareness about the value of brachytherapy, improve access to advances in brachytheraoy treatment, and encourage timely referrals to appropriate cancer care centers.”
