Expanding the WOKVAC trial brings us one step closer to preventing breast cancer recurrence and saving lives — a powerful example of what’s possible when we come together to accelerate research.”
Quoting The V Foundation‘s post:
“We’re granting you permission to get excited about this news!
A $500,000 grant from the Cancer Vaccine Coalition, in partnership with The V Foundation, will expand UW Medicine’s Fred Hutch WOKVAC clinical trial, one of the most advanced breast cancer vaccine trials in the world that has the potential to prevent cancer recurrence.
To date, the V Foundation has granted over $34M for breast cancer research to the best scientists. This partnership builds on that momentum as we work together to accelerate Victory Over Cancer and save lives.”
