ACT 4 Children shared a post on LinkedIn:
” ‘Your child has cancer.’ These are words that strike fear into a parent’s heart. In the past, those words carried little hope, especially for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which had a survival rate of just 5% in the 1960s.
Fast forward to today, and the 5-year survival rate for children with ALL in the USA has increased over time and is now about 90% overall (via American Cancer Society)
At ACT 4 Children, our core pillar of providing quality-assured drugs is focused primarily on curing ALL in children, delivering essential medicines to give more children the chance to survive and thrive.
