Trushdeep Agrawal, Student Intern/Observer at Amravati Cancer Foundation and Research Institute and Founder of the Association of Physicians and Engineers, shared about a new hospital building to be inaugurated in Amravati, India:
“Sujan Surgical Cancer Hospital is the first cancer hospital to bring modern radiotherapy to the town. Under the Ownership and Leadership of Dr. Rajender Singh Sujansingh Arora, the new hospital building will be inaugurated by the hands of the Chief Minister of Maharashtra state, Hon. Devendra Fadnavis, on 27th December 2025.
Equipped with the following therapies that are only available here in the town:
- Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).
- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)
- Conformal Radiation Therapy (CRT)
- Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SBRT)
Along with these other diagnostic procedures, like CT scan, Mammography, etc., are also available. The hospital has multiple collaborations with the top medical and surgical oncologists from all across India
The hospital is also affiliated with the Government of India and the Government of Maharashtra for providing free healthcare to the economically weak under various schemes.
Sujan Surgical Cancer Hospital, along with Amravati Cancer Foundation, has served for the previous 22 years to provide better treatment options to all strata of society.
Along with being a centre of excellence for comprehensive cancer treatment under one roof, this place has also served as a research institute, conducting several clinical trials and original studies under the protocols of DCGI (Drug Controller General of India).”
