“Please join us in congratulating the recipients of the 2026 Stephenson Global Scholar Grants!

The Stephenson Global Pancreatic Cancer Research Institute, in partnership with City of Hope, has awarded $6.7 million to support eight ambitious projects aimed at changing the trajectory of pancreatic cancer.

Among this year’s scholars is Ajay Goel, Ph.D., AGAF, professor and chair in the Department of Molecular Diagnostics and Experimental Therapeutics at City of Hope, whose grant will support the development of a blood-based test to identify pancreatic cysts at highest risk of progressing to cancer.

We’re excited about Dr. Goel’s work and the research this year’s cohort of scholars will bring to the fight against pancreatic cancer.”
