Stephane de La Faverie, President and CEO at The Estee Lauder Companies, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”The Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party is one of my favorite nights of the year. Being surrounded by such an incredible community, united in advancing breast cancer research and honoring those touched by the disease, is deeply inspiring and a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together.
I was honored to serve as Co-Chair again this year, alongside William P. Lauder, whose unwavering commitment continues to carry this mission forward. I’m proud to share that the event raised over $9 million in support of critical funding that will advance lifesaving research.
This work is deeply personal to us at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.. It began with Evelyn Lauder’s vision and the creation of the pink ribbon over 30 years ago and was brought to life through the commitment she shared with her husband Leonard, making the tribute to him at the event especially meaningful. It was a reminder of the profound and lasting impact they have had and the responsibility we all share to carry it forward.
Supporting women is at the heart of who we are. It is rooted in our heritage and continues to guide us in the work we do every day to advance women’s health, leadership, and opportunity.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s Hot Pink Party a success – especially Elizabeth Hurley who has stood alongside us for more than three decades as a passionate advocate for this mission – and to those who continue to move this mission forward every day.”
