The fact that 2 survivors made this list with 8 esteemed physicians, scientists, and researchers validates that lived patient experience holds requisite value. Many of us are out here as advocates beating this same drum. I share this honor with all of you and am grateful for your hard work and servant leadership. We finally have a proof point that our suffering holds merit, so let’s continue to bring our insights to the table as stakeholders.
