“As we move into the 20th year since the inception of the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, I am pleased to share 2026 CCF research awards:

The 2026 CCF Career Development Award: Dr. Rachel Guest, The University of Edinburgh, for IDH1/2 mutations in liver cell plasticity and cholangiocarcinoma – supported by Paul Sidenblad in memory of Kathleen Sidenblad.

The CCF 2026 Innovation Grant: Dr. Shishir Maithel, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, for Phase II, Open-label, Non-randomized, Multi-institutional Study of Optimal Preoperative Therapy for Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma – funded by the Mather Family Foundation.
