St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Congratulations to the 2026 graduates of the St. Jude Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program. Over the three-year program, these fellows built expertise across clinical care and research, learning from and receiving mentorship from world-class investigators.
Their first year centered on clinical training and years two and three focused on research. Fellows continued patient care through a weekly continuity clinic, creating a strong foundation in translational medicine. This training model prepares physician-scientists to connect questions from the clinic to research that can improve care for children with cancer and blood disorders.
‘It is a great honor to work with and support future pediatric hematology/oncologists through the fellowship program,’ said Hiroto Inaba, MD, PhD, Fellowship director. ‘All of the graduates had clear goals even before coming to St. Jude, and they have accomplished so much during their training, and each of them played an important role in improving the status of the program.’
This year’s graduating class includes Katelyn Daniels, MD; Ryan R. Lion, MD, MSC; Grace McKay-Corkum, MD; Sarah Mumanachit, MD; and Marleni Torres Núñez, MD.
All five graduates will continue their work at St. Jude through the Physician Scientist Instructor program or advanced fellowship training, extending research efforts while caring for patients across leukemia, solid tumors, transplantation and global pediatric medicine.”
