Srivani Ravoori, Senior Director and Editor at American Association for Cancer Research, shared on LinkedIn:
“I’m excited to share that I have assumed the role of Senior Director and Editor of Science Communications at AACR!
I’ve had the privilege of advancing AACR’s mission to prevent and cure cancer through impactful science communications for the past 13 years. I’m especially proud of what our team has accomplished in expanding the reach of AACR’s work, helping communicate groundbreaking research advances to researchers, clinicians, patients, advocates, policymakers, and the public. I’m excited to expand the scope of our science communications efforts further in my new role.
Cancer research saves lives. Every breakthrough therapy starts with a scientific discovery, which is why investing in research must remain a national priority. Equally important is helping the public understand how research drives progress and hope for patients. I’m fortunate to wake up every day and play a role in telling that story. Grateful to our CEO Margaret Foti, VP and CCO Rick Buck, to my fantastic team Neha Pancholi, Andrew Matthius, Steve Schneible, Silvia Licciulli, Allie Dananberg, and numerous other dedicated AACR colleagues!”
