SPCC Hosted the Live Symposium ‘Improving Outcomes in MEC’ at MASCC/ISOO 2026 Annual Meeting

SPCC (Sharing Progress in Cancer Care) shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Today in Melbourne, Australia, SPCC successfully hosted the live, in-person symposium “Improving outcomes in MEC: clinical evidence, trial insights and the patient perspective”, held during the opening day of the MASCC/ISOO 2026 Annual Meeting.

The session brought together leading international experts to explore the current landscape and address the persistent unmet needs in the management of MEC.

The faculty engaged a diverse, multidisciplinary audience of clinicians, nurses, researchers, and patient advocates by sharing crucial insights from recent clinical trials on risk assessment, while also shining a spotlight on the patient experience through real-world perspectives.

A warm thank you to our expert speakers Matti Aapro, Mario Di Palma, Eva Schumacher-Wulf, and Florian Scotté, as well as to everyone who attended and contributed to these vital discussions.

For those who could not join us live in Australia, the full symposium recording and related educational materials will soon be made available on-demand via OncoCorner, SPCC’s e-learning platform.

This educational activity is supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Helsinn Healthcare SA and is organised by SPCC.”
