Soon Thye Lim, Chief Executive Officer at National Cancer Centre Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A great to start to the week, meeting our counterparts from China’s very first specialised oncology hospital, Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Centre (FUSCC). Han Chong Toh and I first met the FUSCC leadership team during a work trip to Shanghai earlier this year, where we discussed potential areas of collaboration.
Very pleased to now turn that into reality, as we inked a 3-year MOU to facilitate knowledge sharing in clinical practice and research collaborations between our two cancer centres. In particular, joint multidisciplinary tumour boards will enable both clinical teams to discuss complex patient cases, gain exposure to different perspectives and approaches, and share on new therapies and clinical trials.
Great catching up with the FUSCC team again, am confident this partnership will improve cancer care for populations in both our countries!”
