“Pleased to share the publication of the SIOPE OCEAN research paper in The Lancet Regional Health – Europe.
This is the second article from the OCEAN project, following the OCEAN care paper published in January 2025.
The paper highlights major discrepancies in clinical trial availability across Europe, with a map clearly demonstrating inequalities in access for children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer. These findings underline the need for infrastructure funding and the creation of Childhood Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures embedded in ERN PaedCan, as part of the 2026 SIOPE Oncopolicy Agenda.
