“Call for Applications: 2026 SIOP Scientific Programme Advisory Working Group
The SIOP Scientific Programme Advisory Working Group (SPAWG)—formerly the Scientific Programme Advisory Committee (SPAC)—is now accepting applications for its 2026 cycle!
Established in 2008, this Working Group brings together internationally recognized experts across paediatric oncology to help shape the scientific content of the SIOP Annual Congress. Members propose topics for Keynotes, Symposia, and Meet-the-Expert Sessions, and review submitted abstracts to support the Scientific Committee in selecting high-quality oral and poster presentations.

Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from individuals with strong clinical, translational, or basic research expertise in paediatric oncology, demonstrated by international recognition and relevant publications. We especially encourage candidates from regions outside North America and Western Europe to apply.
Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English.
