“Very much looking forward to this event, celebrating a decade of everything that’s excellent about patient involvement and Irish cancer research.
I’ve been a Patient Advocate throughout all of this decade. My first ever Patient Partnership event was in UCD Conway Institute many, many years ago. Since then I’ve witnessed first hand the extraordinary benefits and exceptional outcomes that can be achieved when we collaborate and work together.
There’s been an exponential growth in Patient Advocacy and PPI in Ireland over the past few years, some of us remember back to when the road map was being designed and the foundations were truly being laid, it’s been immensely satisfying to be involved for more than a decade.
I wish everyone University College Dublin The Patient Voice in Cancer Research a very happy tenth anniversary. Looking forward to seeing everybody there and sharing in the community’s success.”
