Shushan Hovsepyan: Happy to Join the NCCN Webinar on The Growing Cancer Burden in Young Adults

Shushan Hovsepyan, Editor-in-Chief of OncoDaily Medical Journal and Co-Chair of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology Global Health Network Research and Innovation Working Group, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“In the no man’s land.

They are too old for pediatric oncology.
They are too young for adult oncology.

I was happy to join the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) 2026 Global Policy Webinar: The Growing Cancer Burden in Young Adults and speak about the challenges faced by adolescents and young adults with cancer.

AYA oncology is not only about treatment protocols. It is about interrupted education, delayed careers, fertility concerns, mental health, financial stress, survivorship, identity, independence, and the question many young people silently carry: What happens to the life I was building?
