“When people see a billboard in Times Square, they often see success.
I see something different. I see a journey. A journey that began 28 years ago when Stage IV vocal cord cancer took away my natural voice. A journey that taught me resilience, gratitude, adaptability, and purpose.
Recently, I came across an independent AI analysis explaining why I was featured on the iconic Times Square billboard as part of the Loop Creators Club campaign.
What moved me most was not the recognition itself. It was the realization that the story was never about a billboard. It was about impact. About showing that adversity does not have to define your future. About proving that a life changed by cancer can still inspire, educate, advocate, and serve.
If there is one lesson I hope people take away from my journey, it is this:
‘Your greatest challenge may one day become your greatest contribution.’
With gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey.
The story continues.”
