Shrenik Shah: Why “The Power of Voice” Still Wins

Shrenik Shah, Asia Pacific Kindness and Leadership Awardee, Global Influencer, Mentor, and Keynote Speaker, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“The first session of 2026 reminded me why ‘voice’ still wins.

Feels odd to say this right after a talk, but the most powerful moment on 6th Jan wasn’t on stage.

It was what happened after.

I had just finished the first session of 2026 at Gandhinagar University, speaking on The Power of Voice. And instead of the usual polite wrap-up, something else unfolded.

A rush.

Students queued up.
Group photos.
Individual photos.
Assistant Professors, Professors, Associate Professors.
Hallways buzzing.
People waiting, not to leave, but to talk.

The messages that followed said more than applause ever could.

Here are a few things that stayed with me:

  • When an idea lands, people don’t scroll past it. They walk toward it.
  • A ‘voice’ isn’t volume. It’s conviction, lived experience, and honesty.
  • Inspiration doesn’t end with a mic drop. It spills into corridors, conversations, and cameras.
  • Young minds don’t just want motivation. They want meaning they can carry back to their lives.
  • Institutions matter. When universities create space for real stories, real impact follows.

Huge gratitude to Gandhinagar University for organising such a thoughtful expert session and for trusting me with their students for the very first talk of the year.

If this is how 2026 begins, I’m excited for what conversations the rest of the year will spark.

Curious to hear from you: What was the last talk or class that stayed with you long after it ended?

P.S.- Follow for conversations on patience, resilience, and leadership that don’t rush the process.”
