Shing Fung Lee, Consultant in Radiation Oncology at National University Cancer Institute, Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Looking forward to being in Melbourne for MASCC 2026 and to reconnecting with colleagues working across supportive care in cancer.
This year, I will be sharing and discussing work at the intersection of radiation oncology, supportive care, skin toxicity, and the patient experience. These issues are sometimes described as ‘side effects’, but for many patients they shape whether treatment is tolerable, equitable, and meaningful.
After MASCC, I will also be speaking (hybrid) in Adelaide at the programme ‘Improving Patient Outcomes: Integrating Patient Experience, Supportive Care, and Emerging Technologies’. My talks will focus on ‘Beyond Tumour Control: Supportive Care, Skin Toxicity, and the Patient Experience in Radiation Oncology’, and, together with Dr Henry Wong, ‘Translating Evidence to Practice: Advancing Equitable Access to Dermatologic Care for Radiation Dermatitis Worldwide’.
Grateful to the organisers, collaborators, and mentors who continue to support this work. Looking forward to the discussions in Melbourne and Adelaide (Thanks Hannah for the arrangement!).”
