Shikha Jain, Founder, Chair of the Board (Former CEO) at Women in Medicine and Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Illinois Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“What conversations in medicine are we not having loudly enough?
That question is at the heart of the Women in Medicine® Summit™ — and why we are opening our Call for Speakers for 2026.
Each year, the Summit convenes leaders, researchers, educators, advocates, innovators, clinicians and changemakers across healthcare and beyond to explore the issues shaping our profession and our systems — from leadership to innovation, communication, policy, and culture, including emerging work in areas such as artificial intelligence, women’s health, and the future of care delivery.
We are seeking speakers across a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Leading through crisis, uncertainty, or systemic disruption
- Building, mentoring, and developing the next generation of leaders
- Closing the gender gap in medicine and healthcare leadership
- Empowering women to lead, negotiate, and thrive at every career stage
- Designing careers that support both impact and sustainability
- Driving innovation in women’s health, artificial intelligence, and the future of care delivery
This is more than a speaking opportunity. It is a platform for diverse perspectives, cross-sector collaboration, and conversations that resonate across roles, career stages, and disciplines.
The Call for Speakers for the 8th annual Women in Medicine® Summit™, happening at the Drake Hotel in Chicago September 24–26, is now open. (Closes January 12.)
Tag someone whose perspective should be part of this conversation. And check out the link to apply in the comments!
