“New exciting must attend initiative – the ctDNA National UK Road Show
About the ctDNA Road Show:
Following feedback from national cancer clinical leaders at the 2025 UK Oncology Forum in Harrogate, we are launching a nationwide educational roadshow in November 2025 focused on circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA).
This programme has been designed in response to the rapidly evolving role of ctDNA in oncology and the differing interpretations emerging from recent data presented at ASCO 2025.
ctDNA represents a transformative advance in precision oncology, enabling the non-invasive detection and monitoring of tumour-specific genetic alterations through a simple blood test. Its applications are broadening across tumour types, including:
Minimal residual disease (MRD) detection: identifying patients at high risk of recurrence earlier than standard imaging.
Treatment stratification: informing therapeutic decision-making by highlighting actionable mutations and resistance mechanisms.
Dynamic disease monitoring: allowing real-time assessment of treatment response and clonal evolution.
The educational roadshow will visit multiple UK regions and is aimed at a multi-disciplinary audience of oncology consultants, clinical nurse specialists, molecular pathologists, and oncology pharmacists.
Each meeting will feature a keynote lecture from a national thought leader in ctDNA (Professor Alastair Greystoke or Professor Naureen Starling), including providing breaking updates and clinical insights from ESMO 2025.
Complimenting, will be a local expert speaker who will deliver a regional perspective, highlighting how ctDNA testing is currently being integrated into routine clinical practice and service delivery. They will also discuss some of the regional challenges in this area.
The programme has CPD accreditation pending and will be delivered in full alignment with the ABPI Code of Practice. All meetings will be free of charge for UK healthcare professionals working in cancer care.
We look forward to welcoming cancer healthcare professionals and industry to the road show.
18th November – 26 November
London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne.”
