”After a great Bio and ASCO last month, I have had a lot of discussions about the future of precision oncology. Specifically, what if we’re asking the wrong question in precision oncology?
Full disclosure, two close family members of mine have been diagnosed with cancer this past month. And after many personal life discussions, I must say that I truly believe that instead of only asking what mutations are present, we should also be asking how does this patient’s living tumor respond to therapy. That’s what I want to know for my family.
That stated.. happy to see that the latest Elephas data exploring cytotoxicity endpoints in targeted therapies about where functional testing fits alongside molecular profiling. Presented at AACR D3. Check out the article attached!
